I live in IL. Went to Hochatown/Broken Bow, OK for a family wedding in June 2023. Beavers Bend Lodging was excellant. Getting a cabin was WAY better vs. hotel. Cabin was modern, lots of room, full kitchen, hot tub, 2 baths, 3 BR. Everything was AWESOME!!!! Excellant to deal with over the phone. But GPS isn't 100% accurate in that area, so remember to bring printed directions.

As you wish cabin was beautiful! The only annoying thing was that there was additional fees after we paid for the entire cabin. It wasn’t included in the original price. It was so sort of tax, but it would’ve been nice for it to be included in the price when booking.

Oh my gosh, what a great place to stay. To say that we enjoyed ourselves, is an understatement. We had all the room we needed and when entering up on arrival everything was immaculate. The house cabin, if it can be called a cabin, is extremely well laid out.

The upstairs master and downstairs master worked out perfectly for us, as we were with another couple. Then the half bath downstairs works well as each master bath retain their privacy. The kitchen is spacious and the great room just the right size. The veranda is spacious also and allows plenty room for a game of toss. And of course it came with a sauna, which seems to be standard at all the cabins. The cabin affords a reasonable view of the mountains and is conveniently located for the area.

The park is easily accessible by vehicle and is a beautiful drive. Although it was the first week of spring break we did not have very much travel congestion at all because we were there during the week. I strongly recommend trying ax throwing if you never have done that. We hadn't, and had a blast.

If you want to trout fish, I strongly suggest contacting Beavers Bend Fly Shop. It does not matter, which guide as they are all extremely knowledgeable and professional. You will have a great time and they are in tune with keeping you safe at all times.

Will we return? Yes. The best testament to our visit to Broken Bow.

Unfortunately, there was evidence of moisture present as soon as we opened the front door. Floor mat in bathroom was damp and there was a significant leak in the roof in the kitchen area. We placed 3 containers to try and catch the water and the light fixture was filling up - eventually it will cause an electrical short. No offer to adjust cost of the stay - just a "those things happen sometimes" response.

OH! SO FANTASTIC! Super clean (really important to me! Haha) - quiet, everything you need for cooking, relaxing , etc. TV, wifi, chess, books, not to mention the HOT TUB. It's dark and really quiet at night, especially on the week days. Go trout fishing at the dam, learn what a palomino trout is - I did! There is so much to do you couldn't possibly experience everything in one trip. Love these cabins.
