Nice little spot to camp with a boat ramp, pit toilets and fire pits.

August 2023. Gravel parking lot for rv's and lots of grassy area for tents. Grass was mowed and area kept up. Signage saying free camping. Nice area to walk dogs. Only downside is some road noise as you are close to the highway and the train track you cross to enter the park is only about 30 yards from the lot. We had one train come through at 6 am.

Very pretty campground, bathrooms were good. We went end of September, so I think only half of the camp spots were open. The river runs right along the camp area we were at, and it's only fenced partway, which is a scary with little kids. It is right along 1-15, so traffic is pretty loud. Lastly, a really long train came through (a long 1-15) at 12:30 am, blaring it's whistle. It was extremely loud and shook the ground and woke 4/5 of our family up. It was a nice place to stay, but there were some drawbacks for us as a young family.

We accidentally passed the place we were going to park for the night and didn’t want to turn around. I’m so glad we messed up! This place is free and beautiful! Our motorhome is too long for the three parking spots by the river, but we didn’t want to unhook anyway so we parked beside a fenced area with a picnic table and fire ring. You can walk the dog, fish, kayak, and hike. This is on the Lewis and Clark expedition route. There are more picnic tables and a pavilion across the bridge for day use. I called the sheriff to make sure we could park overnight when not in a site and the said it was fine.
