We had a nice evening out at the lake! What we didn't know ahead of time was the crazy hills on the rock road. We were on bikes. It was doable but I rested at the top of each hill & my bike has some very low gears!
I love to camp at this fishing lake. The wildlife is amazing, the lake is beautiful. I would give 6 stars but for one issue. We just stayed there for a 3 night camping trip. No paper in the restrooms and no park personnel were seen any of the four days we were there, Thurs - Sun. Also, it would be a good idea to put at least one trash bin on the property. People are not considerate about leaving behind their trash so some areas are covered in trash. We even cleaned up one of the fishing jetties we wanted to fish on. If there was at least one trash bin, maybe people would be more inclined to clean up after themselves!
They have done quite a but of work on thus lake in the last year. It really looks nice
