Very pretty park located right in the heart of town...although once you enter the park, you'd never know you were so close to civilization. The park is very nice with modern hookups and nice bath/shower facilities. Spaces are very nicely laid out with lots of room between campers. Roads are paved and it is easy to maneuver throughout the park. The lake was beautiful and clean and the whole area was very pretty and natural without being too rustic or remote. We would definitely stay here again. We camped in a 34' RV.

Great Army Engineers Campground on the banks of the Arkansas River. Large spacious sites with a number of pull throughs. Lots of bath houses spread throughout, and children's playground.

We stayed at Maumelle Park for the 2023 Big Dam Bridge ride. It was such a great site and not a long drive to the race start. Our site was right on the river, so we had a beautiful view. Our friends brought their camper, and we brought tents. We rented 2 spaces right next to each other and had plenty of space to hang out. Overall, we definitely enjoyed our stay and saved a lot of money on a hotel room. We will be back for sure!

Our fifth time camping here and it never disappoints. Sites are large and well spaced. Some on river, some in the trees. Near a large marina if that’s important to you, and a boat launch in the park. May pavilions and day use areas are available. Water is good. Restrooms and showers old but adequate. No hot water in the sinks tho. Several dump stations throughout the park. But it seems like the dumpsters are ALWAYS overflowing with bags and litter on the ground — they’re just not dumped often enough.
