Due to impacts from the wallow fire, the south fork campground on the Springerville Ranger District has been converted from a campground to a day use area.
Directions from South Fork: From town center, go to the end of Apache County Road 4124, south of State Highway 260.
I remember coming to this place with my grandfather when I was a child. It was incredible. Big disappointment for me now the majority of his private property. What a shame
