Paradise Found. A truly soul soothing, senses satisfying, and physically rewarding experience. Hiking from Pettit Lake to Alice Lake is an unbelievably beautiful (approx) 10 mile hike.

One of the more scenic hikes in Idaho and the West. Great trails from beginner to experienced into the Sawtooth Wilderness.

Gorgeous hike! It’s a 12 mile hike round trip, not too strenuous (some steeper parts going up), but well worth the journey! The lakes along the way are beautiful as well, but the finish at Alice Lake is the crown jewel (pic with the dog). Be prepared to balance on rocks across a few water crossings — and don’t fall like I did! Plan to come down at sunset on the way back for extra beauty — and bring your camera!

What a fantastic hike, so much beauty out there. We hiked 12 miles with an elevation gain of 1960. The Sawtooth Mountains behind the lake was amazing. The fingers part of the lake were gorgeous.
