Had to launch a boat from this site as I was doing some work for the power company that required a boat for access..nice and clean, quite little place.. appears to be primitive..no power or water hookups that I can see

WOW!!! This is a fantatic campground. There's drinking water near the bathrooms, a boat launch, level sites. It's quiet and clean. We went in our kayak everyday on a pristine lake. There were lots of people fishing small boats.

Off the beaten path. Right on the Tombigbee River, but if you camp here, you must bring all your supplies. It is a long ride to a store. No water or electricity. There are flush toilets. The boat launch is located here, too.

We arrived around 7pm. The gates were opened even though the place was completely flooded and dangerous. No closed road signs anywhere. Thankfully we were able to make a u-turn. Very scary experience overall.
