Very scenic overviews of the Green River in Moffat County, Colorado. Visit the swinging bridge. It was very beautiful. This area has amazing wildlife viewing.
The Flaming Gorge National Recreation area is incredibly beautiful! This is the prettiest area that I have ever kayaked at. I launched at the Sheep Creek Boat Launch Area ($5 fee per day and boats are inspected). The visitor centers have souvenirs. There are many trails to hike to overlooks around the reservoir that are pet friendly.
The Red Fleet State Park has dinosaur tracks, interesting geology, and a beautiful reservoir. I enjoyed hiking and exploring the area!
The Sheep Creek Boat Launch Area had a $5 day fee to park and kayak/boat here (boats are inspected here). This area was dog friendly. Many people were fishing near the shore. There is a bathroom and a large parking lot.

Respect the petroglyphs. Do not touch, damage, or climb on the rocks so that everyone can enjoy the rich history present. The trail was short and the petroglyphs were amazing. Very neat cultural resources. Stay on the trail. No dogs allowed. This a part of Dinosaur National Monument, so there is a fee. Small parking lot (park in designated area). There is another petroglyph trail right by this one. Most of the petroglyphs are viewable from the road, bring binoculars if you don't want to leave your car
