The Bonneville Lock and Dam visitor center is a wonderful way to see and learn more about the river, salmon and the dam. It's a large facility and there is a lot to see. It's very impressive and you can see the fish ladders and was the salmon navigate the ladders. Great way to spend several educational hours and stretch your legs. There is no cost for admission.
After a long day of riding our motorcycles, we were tired and looking for a place to stay. Let me say we stumbled on this gem and were delighted with everything about it. The grounds and buildings were very well maintained. Our room was large and very comfortable. We thought the beds were super comfortable too. The staff was friendly and very nice. There was coffee available for free at the general store right next door. We loved this place and highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area. The value for the cost was very good.
Our friends have a small house at this location. We came to visit them and stayed at the motel on site. The room was large and clean. It featured 2 queen beds, a kitchen, dining area and living area. It was very nice and comfortable. The rest of the RV park was very crowded and cramped. Could not see ourselves staying here again unless visiting friends. Way too much going on to be peaceful and quiet. If you like crowded places, this is it.
