The camp sites are tiny.. if you have a trailer just be prepared because the spots are small and many don’t fit both the camper and the truck or tow vehicle. The lake itself is Beautiful and there are lots of additional hikes with other vistas and hidden gems all around. This is a very family friendly day use and camping area. It felt very safe. The ONLY really bad thing was that the vault toilets were in much need of some TLC. It was end of season so I get it.. but there’s ways to keep the odor down. Not sure they had enough maintenance for them?
