Primitive camping, no services. Overnight camp trip in early November. 30 degrees at night and 60 degrees in the day. Tons of beautiful stars at night. Kids had lots of fun exploring the large white rock, which is like a mini mountain. Lots of dirt, rocks, sage brush, and juniper bushes. We launched rockets up in the air and it was perfect for that. Lots of other outdoor activities can be done, clay pigeons, 4-wheeling, etc. Please be respectful and do not leave garbage or broken glass when visiting. There was a lot of broken bottles on the dirt on rocks.
Nice spot to camp in the Uintas. Beautiful reservoir, not really good for swimming (no sandy beaches) but good for fishing or kayaking. Some camping spots have more shady trees than others. Not a ton of privacy or space between camp spots, but the whole area is very secluded. Each site has space for a car or RV, picnic table, fire pit, and tent spot. There are pit toilets and some water spigots, but when we were there in late June the water was all off, not sure why.
