I've been coming here for 20 years, since I was 12 years old. The lake is pristine, has some great views and good fishing. They stock the lake regularly, mostly with 10-12 inches but also with some larger trout. They allow boats,, paddle boards, kayaks, fishing tubes and canoes but no swimming. The campgrounds were very crowded in mid June. If you are keen on "real" camping I'd suggest staying at the free sites between the lake and the 376 road. There are some really amazing views and campsites as long as you are okay without water and a stinky portapotty.
