Spent 2 nights/3 days in Black Oak Lodge. The cabin is well appointed and really worked well for our group needs. We did choose to have food catered through the MOC, which was great. They set us up in the lodge/welcome center with a small buffet, made sure to stay in line with our dietary/allergy needs and we also did trail lunches, which were delicious and well packed. They were not exactly as described, but we figured since it's off season for them, likely they didn't have things on hand. Not a big deal. We hiked several trails from the parking lot, and enjoyed the beautiful February weather. We will definitely be back. Keep in mind... this is in the middle of the woods - it's not a 5 star resort, but comparatively it's one of the nicer facilities we have come across.
