Fabulous comfy cozy cabin just 15 min from downtown Blue Ridge. Loads of entertainment incl. table tennis, pool table, air hockey, corn hole, hot tub and shuffle board. We had a beautiful sunset while sipping cocktails on the porch swing. Recommended!
Comfy beds and furniture with lots of games. It needs some TLC - some of the amenities are aging (air hocky table broken and wobbly etc.). Bit of a bad smell in the master bathroom that seeps into the master (upstairs) bedroom (possibly related to drainage issues in the master shower). Only the basement retains the strong log cabin smell. Views are ok but not spectacular. There are some close neighboring cabins (2 within view of the cabin). I can see this as being a great place for kids and pets. Coffee maker takes the 10-12" bucket style coffee filter size (not provided). It's a minimum 15 minute drive to anything (trails, stores etc.). The gravel road (Hot House) is easy if you follow the directions (low gear don't drop speed). We had no troubles in a sedan.
