At 1Tribe, you’ll enjoy unique and serene lodging accommodations seamlessly intertwined with our regenerative farm. From our stone Summit manor to our cabins nestled on the hillside of our developing permaculture food forest, you’ll wake up among happily grazing cattle and wildlife living their best life.
Come connect with nature, catch up on rest, splash in the river, hike our woods, attend or host a health and wellness retreat, get up close and personal with our animals and food systems, and of course feed yourself the most delicious and nutritious meals available.
1Tribe is a place where you can feel good about feeling good. Through careful land stewardship and collaboration with animals, we’re leveraging natural design to: add an abundance of organic matter and nutrients to the soil, support an increasingly diverse ecosystem of plant and animal life, sequester harmful carbon out of the air, and replenish our natural aquifers. By supporting 1Tribe, you help us strengthen the resilience of our community.
We’re all 1Tribe, everyone is welcome.
1Tribe isn’t just a farm regenerating land–we’re also regenerating people by welcoming them to the farm for events, retreats, or just to stay! With a variety of accommodations nestled throughout our working regenerative farm, we’re sure to have an option to suit your needs: come to the farm to commune with nature, meet the animals, and take in a big fresh breath of Shenandoah Valley air.
The ideal farmside glamping experience, our Primitive Cabins have just what you’ll need for a restful nights’ sleep, whether you’re visiting the farm or exploring the Valley!

1Tribe is a true haven - the moment you step onto the farm, worries and stress lift and nature's healing takes over. I have helped to facilitate four retreats at 1Tribe, and honestly, the farm and its healing steals the show every time.
While there's something really precious about hidden gems like 1Tribe, I want more people to know about this special place. It nourishes body and soul and is a bringer of genuine joy and peace!
Not to mention, Chris, Stacy Rae, Travis, and the whole team do an incredible job of taking care of their guests, from arrival to departure (ask for a farm tour, and don't forget to check out the onsite farm store!!). If you are staying overnight, definitely opt for the catered farm to table meals!
If you are a retreat host, or workshop organizer, or are just looking for a couple of nights away from the hustle with your family or friends, come to 1Tribe.
I just hosted a 3 night women’s retreat at 1Tribe and it was out of this world magical. Everything from the linens in the cabins to the farm fresh mess prepared by the chef were phenomenal. Stacy, Chris, Travis, Becky, Martha, and Jordan are hard working, authentic and dedicated professionals that love that land and the animals wholeheartedly. The group of women felt welcomed and at peace throughout their stay. This place is going to be famous, so book a stay while you still can. 1Tribe is changing the way the world farms which brings me hope and comfort and their hospitality is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. Thank you 💞
I just attended a deeply restorative retreat at 1Tribe Farm. It was an amazing experience! Stacy's warm and inviting energy, Chris' incredibly informative and inspiring farm tour, and Martha and Jordan's incredible food and service made it an outstanding experience. The rolling hills of the beautiful Shenandoah's are the perfect setting to rest and rejuvenate!
Just for full transparency though, I stayed in the heated farmhouse - no rustic cabins for me LOL :)
Do not miss stopping at 1 Tribe Farm. If you are interested in regenerative agriculture and farming practices, this is a must see. Travis was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the farm and the products they sell.
I had the pleasure of stopping by 1 Tribe Farm this afternoon on our way from Atlanta to New York. Travis was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable about the products the farm provides as well as the agricultural landscape and biome. Go visit them you will not be disappointed!
