My family stayed at this resort the weekend before Christmas, and we were very disappointed with our room. Long story short, it was disgusting accommodations. The whole room had a musty, pet smell, even though the facility isn’t supposed to have pets. The carpet, which was the type of carpet you would see in homes and not the high traffic carpet you would see in hotels, was stained, matted, and had not been vacuumed. The couches were stained and greasy. The tub in the master bathroom looked like it had been painted over, and a lot of the paint had worn off. The bed linens were dirty and stained. Some of the housekeepers were vaping on property, even though the whole facility is supposed to be nonsmoking. We let management know about how bad the room was, and they didn’t offer any sort of satisfaction for such a terrible room. Will not be back.
Didn't really enjoy the sales pitch at the beginning of our trip from the concierge but everything else went very well. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. They have a beautiful view of the lake as well.
This was our second time here. The first time was several years ago. We returned because we had a nice room the first time and the location is fantastic. The room we had this time was not good. The carpet was gross and was coming up. We had 2 towel racks that were broken, our cold water in our bathroom sink was leaking and frankly all of the interior needed redone/replaced. From talking to others, it sounds like some of the rooms have been redone.
The workers are all very nice. We did have issues with the towel station being open on time and also the taco truck. Based on the room alone, we likely will not be back.
We had a great experience at the resort. Very clean, comfortable, and beautiful condos. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the concierge Heidi. She went above and beyond to make our stay great and booked all our shows and other adventures for us. Can't wait to go back.
We love staying at the resort. Lots of activities on site, and they try to keep it family friendly and have stuff for the little kids to do outside of the park and swimming. We are hoping the new indoor water park will be worth us getting an Explorer version of their timeshare offering. Love being able to shuttle back and forth to SDC and being on the lake makes it nice. Lots of free amenities and good place to stay overall.
