We love coming here to fish or walk around the reservoir. It can be pretty full on nicer days but still plenty of room to find a nice spot to hang out. They keep it pretty well stocked, so we've never had any trouble catching dinner!

Beautiful hike around the reservoir. Not too difficult. A tad bit muddy in some places of the western side of the reservoir but overall a tranquil place to visit. Great fishing and nice weather although slightly chilly. Beginning of May

If the campground had some shade I would definitely be giving this spot a 5. Beautiful 1.75 mile hike around the lake. We paid $15 per night for hookups so also inexpensive. What I really enjoyed about the hiking trails was mostly very level and well maintained but also had offshoot littler trails for those interested in a little more challenging hike. Plenty of spots along the way to sit and enjoy the view but also lots of secluded spots perfect for some solitary fishing. Many bridges, was fun.
