From the east end of Grangeville, turn south on the Grangeville Salmon Road and turn left at the drive-in theater toward the small town Mt. Idaho. Continue on the Mt. Idaho Grade, and junction with State Highway 14 headed toward Elk City. South Fork Campground is located at Mile Post 14 on Hwy 14.
Nice place to camp and quite. Easy river access and nice sandy beach with good swimming holes.
We love coming back here,we raised our kids down here, and now we brought our grandkids.
What a beautiful place just outside of grangeville. It has water but no power for trailers and a awesome Sandy beach to play and fish on.
