From jct I-10 & Bus US 95 (exit 17): Go 1-1/2 mi E on Bus US 95, then 2 blocks N on Hwy 95.
Just called to see if they had a spot available for two smaller rigs. When I told them I had an ambulance, they then asked what shape my rig was in because the manager only takes “pretty rigs”. They wouldn’t let us share a spot even for a night and $52/night is outrageous.
The staff is friendly. If you are looking for an inexpensive park without all of the fancy frills yet clean and comfortable then you found it here. Clean restrooms and laundry room with maintained equipkment.
Not the best park for pets but we can walk our dogs outside the park and we are ok with it. They have what they call a dog run but its really not a dog run its a 10x12 area so we just go out to the desert with our dogs.
We have stayed at Shady Lane for many years. In previous years when it was owned by Phineas and Breezy we always felt welcome. They would come around and chat and make sure everything was good. This year was a totally different unfriendly experience. Never have we been told we had to be there before dark or they wouldn't park us. They had our email and phone number and could have notified us. We made it just in time but things out of travelers control happen sometimes. They are not pet friendly at all. We won't be staying there again. The days of a welcome feeling are gone.
I called Shady Lane looking for a 6 month stay,Kelly the manager was so extremely helpful!! I asked about getting on Jan 1st then changed my mind to Dec 16th. Kelly not only got us in,he said we could move in today! He and all of the workers at Shady Lane are so helpful and some of the nicest people I have encountered in a very long time.
Kelly gave us a really great price for a 6 month stay. CHEAP!!
They take cash as well as credit cards with a small fee. They are pet friendly as well.
