Beautiful place to relax, they have a grocery store, cafe bar and plenty of camping spots.

This will be the second time I've written this review as it seems to be getting deleted. I didn't think this was possible until someone reminded me of thia incident and I came back to refresh my memory, but the review is gone. Strange.

I've stayed at Mouse river park three times now and for the most part, it was good. The park was clean, the sites are large and well groomed. Some have water, others don't but there's a full station on the east side of the bridge. Not much of a problem. The store is adequately stocked and the Bar/Restaurant is quite nice.

That's were the positivity ends.

The last time we visited will have been our last visit after what we experienced. We reserved our normal spot and arrived in the early afternoon on a Friday and set up our rig on the spot. After a couple hours, a man and woman pulled their rig in the wrong way, through trees (attempted to make a back in site a pull-through) and attempted to park their rig facing ours. I initially didn't have a problem with that until they decided to commandeer our fire ring and picnic table while we were at the restaurant.

When I returned to the site and noticed that they had done this, I asked politely if we could get our things back as they belong to our site. I was immediately met with a severely drunk woman (it's literally 2:30pm) telling me that it was part of their site and my rig was facing the wrong direction.

My site was a back in, there is no other "way" for me to park. Hers was a back in as well, and I pointed out to her that her table and ring were in the other side. She continued to ridicule me for about another 10 minutes until they discovered that they were indeed parked the wrong way. After she was finished lambasting me with insults and calling me an idiot over and over again, (completely unwarranted behavior, she was acting like a child) I received my sites items back and I continued to go on with my day...

My wife and I decided to take our dogs for a long walk. We were gone for about 2 hours, just to return to a horrible smell of what seemed like undercooked fish and burning oil near our RV. After a few minutes of checking out our sewer and the immediate area around our site, I discovered the drunk woman's extremely drunk husband had set up a very putrid smelling frying apparatus directly on the other side of the wall behind our RV, nowhere near their site.

I walked to the other side of the wall and asked "what's this?", he replied "oh, it's too stinky around our RV, my wife doesn't like it", to which I replied, "so you thought is was just alright to stink up my site with your garbage?"

The woman inside her RV heard me and began shouting at me through the screen door and then following me around my site, shouting while I began to gather my things to leave.

Moments later, when spittle from her alcohol fueled tirade landed on my face, I threatened her and her husband with police. Immediately her drunk friend came over, grabbed her from my site and began to apologize, then had the audacity to ask us if we cared to join them for a fire later. Mind you, it's literally 4:30 pm now and they're all insanely drunk.

I packed my things, hitched my rig and left. We were there for a total of 5 hours. I hadn't even cracked a beer yet.

I've never, ever witnessed this type of nonsensical rudeness and lack of respect at any other campground that I've ever visited and I've been to hundreds of them all over the US.

I'll never ever go back.
