Rent A Tent Monument Valley has three sites with already set up tents for camping. Campfire Ring, BBQ stands, picnic tables, chairs, full sized bed, potable water cistern, outhouse. Primitive Camping Area and desert amphitheater views of 14 Monuments
It’s was an unexpectedly beautiful campground and experience. If you want to try out off-grid camping but not ready to go fully off-grid. It’s a good place to be. Atsa was a great host, the dogs and cats were a bonus. I was in a campervan, lots of space and great shower.

Beyond 5 stars! The family that runs this are among the greatest people I have ever interacted with. They really give you everything you need for a perfect, stress-free stay. Everything from cooking equipment, power, fire pit, reading material, a very sturdy tent along with a very comfortable bed with plenty of blankets, and much more. They are very easy to keep in touch with during the stay, and they were very helpful in helping me plan awesome things to do in the area. I’m so glad I stayed on their site for 3 amazing nights. Waking up to the silhouettes of the Monuments in fresh air is something that I’ll take with me forever.
If you’re looking for a place to stay in this area, do it with these folks (and their dogs!!). Connect with the land, take a deep dive into the history, and see the best sunrises ever.
An incredible experience from start to finish. Monument Valley is something spectacular, but this campsite was beyond comparison. The tents are thoughtfully stocked with cups, napkins, bug spray and flashlights. The tents are also set up with carpeting and cozy bedding so the sleeping experience was wonderful and relaxing. The site is fully prepped for grilling and dinning as well as individual fire pits and an outdoor sink. Thank you for your hospitality and making our stay so welcoming!
Monument Valley is one of the most beautiful places on earth and camping there, has been one of the most extraordinary experiences; to see the sunset and sunrise was awesome first hand; we thank our host Atsa from Rent A Tent for been so knowledgeable and in touch with his heritage, a young man that have wisdom like an older, he was willing to answer questions about his people traditions and help us with everything, he has a rustic campground and he's making improvements for better accommodations, a bunch of wonderful dogs and cats greeted us as we enter the community, they are also hard working animals. His camping property is less to a mile away to entrance to the tribal park Monument Valley, and the same distance to the only market on town. It was very convenient, the campground included restroom, grill, fire place, tables and secluded from other campsites, also there's set-tents to rent for really exceptional prices and the best part is that the campground it's so peaceful, you'll feel connected with nature, the views of the towers are unbeatable. Bring your own chairs and tarp for shade. I highly recommend this campground if you go to Monument Valley, I haven camping a lot and this is one of the best places to stay for the views. Thank you Atsa for renting to us in your sacred land, it was an honor!!. Fernando, Brenda the Aztec and brothers.
One of the most beautiful dry camping we’ve ever experienced.
It’s mostly a big RV dirt parking lot, along with three tents to rent. The place is funky but the views and location are spectacular.
The you man who runs the place is extremely friendly, as are his dogs who quickly become friends.
It’s only $25/night for RVs, but he’s not great about returning calls. Just show up with your cash and you won’t be sorry.
Verizon service was ok. We will definitely stay here again. We have a 36’ Class A with toad car and there’s plenty of room.
