Pine Canyon Dam

About Campground

This site is an Army Corps of Engineers flood control dam for the railroad. The site contains two shade structures, picnic tables, grills, fire pits, garbage cans, and vault toilets.

Directions

From Caliente:

1) Turn toward Clover Canyon Road near the Caliente Thomas Petroleum Warehouse. After approximately 285 feet, turn right onto Clover Canyon Road (parallel to railroad).

2) Travel 4.25 miles west on clover creek road, turn right onto Barnes Canyon Road (turn is at a railroad crossing).

3) Travel south east 12 miles on Barnes Canyon Road.

4) Turn left and travel 2.5 miles north east on Fife Road.

5) Turn right and travel southeast .75 miles on Pine Canyon Dam Road to site.
