Great river access, good facilities, beautiful rugged surroundings. 😁
*Don't drive on the sand bar (unless u have 4wd) We saw 2 ppl get stuck, had to get pulled out. Rad spot. We parked along the river. Bumpy and dusty unpaved road 3ish miles off the main drag to get there. Make sure you have air in your tires and a shovel just in case. No cell reception 😉
Great campground with easy self check-in and primitive restrooms. It's a small campground but the view is beautiful by the water. Fairly close to the road but it's not highly trafficked so not an issue with noise. Fun and impressive drive to get here as well!
Nice stop for a picnic and to splash in the river. Shallow and warm water, though there were some small rapids just upstream. Primitive boat launch for those with man powered watercraft.
