Camped with a group here, nice campground, great state park, access to the fun and challenging trail system at the entrance to the campground, access to the lake with a nice swimming area. Having the pavilion for group activities is great. Need to expand to have more rv sites someday!

For the size of the area, surprised it only had one toilet. Tons of ants, which definitely took over my camper. Loved it had access to the lake and a beach but the road was in pretty bad shape.

We love this place. We held our family reunion here and had 14 spots reserved. The campground is beautiful. There are walking trails that go down to the lake. There is a nice kids playground for the kiddoes and a nice backdrop for baseball or in our case, kickball. The bathhouse is typical of ml ost campgrounds (stinky and always wet). The rv spots are plenty long enough for larger rvs and even room for toads. Each spot has a picnic table, 30 amp service and water. The rv dump station is close enough in case you have to use a portable dump buggy. All in all we gave this place a strong 5 out of 5.

Went here at the end of May and during a non-holiday weekend hoping to beat the heat and the crowds. We had good weather though it was a bit hot during the day and no wind. Duke's was a nice campground. It didn't have as many people as the other campgrounds around Lake Murray had, but it wasn't really close to the water. We tent camp but spent our stay at an RV spot. Having electricity and water nearby was nice. Tent camping sites were about 100yrds from bathrooms. Our site was a bit closer but not too close. Tent sites are first come first serve. RV spots as well but you can reserve them. Sites were fairly clean. Picnic tables are cement and pretty uncomfortable. Some RV sites were challenging to find places for a tent. If you like being away from people, with some slight separation from others, this was nice. The people managing the location were nice. Bathrooms were pretty good though it would have been nice if they would use a broom once in a while to clear out the spiders and other insects. Lake Murray is a nice place to visit. Hoping to return again!
