Pretty quiet, well maintained. Some sketchy looking people living in cars trying to camp for free. Who am I to judge. You'll see wild horses.
Great camping area, clean bathrooms (bring your own soap) and hot showers available even if it's freezing outside. We camped at the very end of the season and all of pur neighbors were considerate. Wild horses galore, beautiful sunsets and sunrises along the mountains 😍
Great place to camp. Lots to do in the area. We visited Lake Tahoe and Virginia City. The park also had many areas to explore and enjoy the lake. Nice clean bathrooms and spacious camping spots. There is also an area for your horses. We also enjoyed Carson City and will return to visit the Railroad museum and visit the hot springs.
