At Cozad, NE go south 8 miles on Hwy 23 to Gallagher Canyon sign, turn left or east on Road 751 2 miles, turn north 1 1/2 miles on Road 422 turn left or west at signs posted, travel on gravel road through corn field 1 1/4 mile arriving at Gallagher Canyon.
Love this place. It is quiet and not very crowded. Except for those that come in after hours party and then leave all their trash and out by sunup and not pay to enter the park
Wonderful, tucked away in the cornfields. Private, quiet and peaceful. Very pretty campsite on the lake.
I love this SRA because it is off the beaten path, quiet, and not busy. The lake and fishing is good but the drought has caused low water levels in the past 3 years.
