Surprisingly well-kept park in small town Mt. Vernon. I enjoyed this park as a child and it was great to see it in such excellent shape nearly 40 years later.
Stopped here to stretch and let my dog out. Pleasantly surprised with drinking water and a vault toilet. Park is very quiet. Area feels pretty safe.
This used to be a great little park and it even had one of those old merry-go-rounds in it! I loved it! But they decided it needed an equipment update, which is understandable, but they took out the old equipment nearly a whole YEAR ago now and it's just been sitting there with nothing in it except for a few monkey bars.
