So far this is the best campsite I have been to! You just get there and grab a campspot, not for rv's. The lake is so clear and fun to swim in, kinda cold but that's to be expected. There seems to be mountain goats that frequent the area and go through the campsites, or at least ours they did. I woke up every morning to the goats brushing past our tent, tripping over the rainfall lines, and just plain messing with things. I didn't mind, it was pretty cool in fact but some people may have issues with that. I could go on for days about the hiking trail and the climb up the 2 mountains on either side of the saddle. It seems like a treterous climb but a mother and her 4 young kids made it all the way up to the saddle at least. I went to both peaks and did hardscrabble twice, which does seem to have a lot of loose rocks so you just have to be real careful. I took many pictures and am sharing some with views of the campsite, the lake, the saddle, sacagawea peak, and hardscrabble peak. I most definitely recommend visiting this place and taking the full experience, camping, swimming, climbing, and even biking!
