We we're so estatic to have found this place! I have been been looking for somewhere up north that reminds me of home. We have stayed at Blue Heron Farm twice now, in the log cabin, and it keeps getting harder to leave! The farm is very relaxing and peaceful, and we always enjoy going to explore things to do nearby. The owners,

Bill and Norma, are two of the nicest and grooviest people you will ever meet and I am so glad they made staying there possible! We will definitely continue to come back every year.

My Mom has been staying at the Bungalow and I have been cozied up in the log cabin. We love it here! Norma and Bill are charming and helpful. The Bungalow is updated with 2 gas fireplaces and a nice cooking kitchen. The bed is comfortable and the view from the back porch is lovely.

The log cabin is more rustic and right up your alley if you like wood and want to travel back to the past but still have comfort and a TV. There are also washers and dryers in both places which is very convenient. If you like the idea of waking up to see horses grazing on the farm and fresh eggs and maple syrup on your porch this is your kind of place. It is great to rent the 2 cottages so Mom and I can have dinner together but still have our space. Definitely recommended!

Our family shared The Maples cottage with another family for a wonderful weekend together! We had 3 small kids among us and they LOVED petting the horses and the goats, playing along the trails, counting the butterflies, and enjoying the great outdoors! The fresh eggs were only one of the many special things about staying at the farm. And the adults loved hearing about the farm's history from Bill. We felt so at home. The cottage is well equipped with anything you may need. We would definitely recommend this weekend getaway to anyone who needs a break from the hustle and bustle of city life - we would love to have stayed longer!

The norma & bill are wonderful hosts and enjoy sharing their working farm. A perfect place to stay and take day trips or enjoy the outdoors in nature's beauty.

The best place to stay in the Berkshires and/or Pioneer Valley! You will have your own kitchen in which to cook and deck for grilling, and bird watching. MassMOCA and the Clark Art Institute are less than an hour away. Blue Heron is a diversified farm - your hosts, Bill and Norma Coli have worked this farm for decades. They continue to do so. Not only is it a great place to stay but you are supporting this farm which is in land trust and keeping the land in traditional use!
