We booked, paid and were so excited about our weeklong family and friendcation this past week and imagine our huge disappointment when we arrived to find that the listing is at a minimum misleading if not blatant false advertisement.

Every hour we were there, we found something new wrong with the cabin. From a massive leak in the garage, to a broken propped up chair in the living room, a broken propped up bed and a broken dining room bench (all items that the maintenance men already knew were broken and purposely left for us to sit/sleep on and potentially be hurt!) to a massive air conditioning leak from the third floor to the second floor this place became a nightmare stay. All the beds were uncomfortable and we all left with various aches and pains. The last night, one of our friends ended up sleeping on the couch so they could be ready to drive home ! One bed was propped up with cinder blocks! There are not 3 queen beds. One is a full. The ceiling fan in the dining room was not working, several outlets in the kitchen were not working, the cable in the master was not working, the TV in the living room is broken, the WiFi did not reach to the other two floors. All of the shelves in the refrigerator are gone. The ice maker is broken. There is no refrigerator in the garage. The bedroom on the second floor does not cool down - because the windows do not close. I’m told it’s because the house is “settling” on that side, and the windows are crooked, therefore cannot close. It was incredibly warm. Several of the blinds are broken. There are several nails sticking up in the floors. The sauna is unusable. The hot tub was unusable for the majority of our stay, as was the pool table, dart board and middle bathroom shower. The house was obviously not cleaned prior to our arrival. There was a half eaten cookie left on the window sill and something moldy growing on one of the other shelves. The garage wreaks of mildew. As an asthmatic, that’s a huge problem. The garbage only gets picked up after you leave, which means the garbage in the garage overflows when you have large groups staying in the cabin. Which also means you attract bugs that like the smell of said garbage. Don’t even get me started on what was found under the beds. Several items were left behind from the previous visitors which should have been collected by the cleaning crew. I have no idea where they get the 7 parking spots from because you cannot park in the “driveway”. It’s a mud pile and you will get stuck. The “cottage” air conditioning does not work and therefore that space is not usable. Never mind that it has not been cleaned and is full of dust and dead bugs.

Prior to our arrival, one of our friends happened to notice a review about a couple of issues a previous renter noted during their stay. He was assured at all of these items had been fixed since then and that all was well with the cabin. That was so incredibly disappointing to get there and realize we had been lied to ! If we had know there was a problem with one of the beds or WiFi, we could have brought our air mattress or WiFi extenders from home. Just be honest !

We got lucky that we had a couple people that were unable to come at the last minute and therefore the broken full bed was not too impactful, because when we contacted the property manager, it took a long time to get any response. When we finally did get a call mid week, Jeff informed us that there is a problem with the owner..that he doesn’t want to spend the money to fix some of the things they know are wrong, and that’s why the place is priced the way it is because they know the shape the cabin is in. If that’s the case, then don’t advertise that you have these amenities, and remove the broken items so that no one gets hurt by sitting on them ! Complete lack of care for your renters so that you can make money by lying in your description ! It bothers me to leave a negative review, but they didn't care about our pain or inconveniences. Don't waste your money, find another cabin for your hard earned vacation!

Large cabin however the flow is awkward. Amenities such as sauna and ice maker did not work. Heating on bottom two levels didn't work so all beds we were unable to use. Property mgmt were not apologetic or offered discount on our experience. Limited parking.

If I could give zero stars I would, where to begin. False advertising in the listing, does not have 3 queens one is a full. Lot's of broken furniture, leaks, unusable amenities due to being broken or not working properly. Wifi does not reach lower levels, A/C does not cool off the lower levels due to windows not closing all the way. Broken uncomfortable beds the worst I've ever slept on, in fact someone in our group had to sleep on the couch because it was more comfortable. Driveway is unusable as it's a big mud pit. Appliances such as the fridge has many broken pieces, we needed to use a cooler due to lack of space in broken fridge. I could go on & on but you get the jist. Please save your hard earned money & look else ware for something better.

Keep looking - The listing is NOT accurate, property needs major improvements.... Keep reading for some more details. Not sure where to begin. The ad indicates several items that are not accurate and misrepresents the property. There were not 3 queen beds, only 2. The pool table was unlevel and not usable. The sauna did not work. Also, the property was VERY dirty. there were bottle caps visible on the patio and other items left behind from previous guests like socks, camera batteries, etc. There were too many items in disrepair to list. Some of the highlights are the fridge was missing several shelves, making it about 30% less useful. The ice maker didn't work properly. There are broken blinds in various rooms. Several lights just don't work for some unknown reason. The beds were THE WORST!! One of them is propped up with cinder blocks, and it's not level, not even close. The pillows are terrible and flat. Collectively, our group of 15 all had issues with our beds. As a long time landlord and real estate broker, I consider this listing fraudulent. It would be understandable if a couple of things were overlooked, but this list is incredible. Keep looking, find something else.
