Great campground with tent and RV spots, yurts, and stay-ready glamping tents. Large community kitchen, BBQ spots, fun things for the kids, and a pool (seasonal). Clean bathrooms and showers. Nice one-mile trail through a meadow to Nevada City. Free Train Museum next door.
Have not stayed here but when I called to inquire about staying here and walking to Victorian Christmas, the front desk was efficient, friendly and detail oriented and gave me all the information I needed without even asking. So many times you call a campground to get local information and they seem inconvenienced by your questions, but not this place! An inquiry phone call creates a first impression and these guys made me want to spend my money there. Thank you for your perfect customer service! See you soon.
I stopped in for an RV wasted tank dump and propane fill.
I'd borrowed the RV from a friend, but if I owned one this place would be my top choice. Excellent, affordable service, and the staff was friendly. There's a historic Chinese cemetery on the property, it's worth checking out if you're in to Nevada County history and have a few minutes to spare.
We had a wonderful stay at the campground. If you are looking for a beautiful, convenient, safe, fun, and clean campground this is it. This was probably the easiest camping I’ve ever done with our family of 5. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I feel like they thought of everything a family would possibly need even a coffee maker in the community building.
If you are looking for a relaxing and unique experience in a vibrant small town city, this is it! Inn Town Campground offers tent and RV camping, but the glamping tents are truly special. The grounds are always clean and you can tell that the owners really care about offering a great experience to all.
