About Campground

Hidden Splendor was the sight of a historic uranium mine. Remains of the mine can still be seen today. The sites offers access to Muddy Creek, dispersed camping, and a backcountry airstrip. This trailhead offers access to many canyoneering routes and the popular “The Chute” of Muddy Creek. This hike is 15 miles long and typically requires 8 to 10 hours from trailhead to trailhead. As in all desert canyon hikes always watch the forecast and be aware of potential of flash flooding.

Holly's is probably the best hiking trail on the Canyons side of Park City Mountain Resort. The trailhead is located about 100 yards up from the Red Pine gondola and once you've made your way to the trailhead you have done the hardest part as the whole trail meanders horizontally for the most part. Bikes are also allowed on the trail as well so make sure to stay aware of your surroundings!
