My friend and I have never had any experience similar to this. So this our first experience and so far we love it. The first thing is the camp gives detailed instruction before guests arrive. One of the best place to look at the Milky Way. Make sure to bring your telescope if you have one. The bathroom is nice and eco-friendly. They have a few enough tables for having your meal. They also have propane gas to cook. The nature is wild and beautiful around. Lots of tents! Lovely options!
My one-night stay at the Wander Camp was absolutely breathtaking. The campsite's location, very close to Grand Canyon, offered stunning sunset and sunrise views of this natural wonder. While the staff was helpful and the campfire under the starry sky was a highlight, I did encounter some difficulty due to the limited signage, making it a bit challenging to find the campsite. Nevertheless, for a quick escape to the Grand Canyon, this campsite is a must-visit. I'm already looking forward to my return.
We had a great experience here! We got to the campsite in the dark, so we were a little worried, but then we were greeted by an incredibly nice woman. The direction to Wander were very accurate. The beds-wow! Delightfully surprised by how cozy and comfortable- like we didn’t want to get up the next morning! The tent was so cute! It’s only 25 minutes from Grand Canyon. Got to see a lovely sunrise! Thank you! Would highly recommend and we would totally come back!
An amazing experience! We got greeted by a friendly woman and got all of the information that we need. The tent was very good, and sleeping was very comfortable. Parking was next to the tent. The showers were free to use and there was a cozy shared space too, which we didn’t use to be honest. A great stay!
The road to the Wander Camp Ground is a dirt-road, so your car will be dirty and do not drive too fast.
Magical! Wander Camp was the highlight of our trip to the Grand Canyon! It was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. A very unique experience! The people were friendly and helpful! We had the best nights of sleep. There are no words to describe the night sky, completely unreal beauty. I am so fortunate to have found Wander Camp and will be visiting their other sites as it makes the trip even more memorable! Do yourself a favor and GO!! You won’t regret it!
