Wonderful campground well off the highway, no road noises, at the first large campsite past pit toilets on the right there is a rocky path navigable by 2wd van that takes you out to private opening with fire pit and picnic table, spectacular mountain views all around, very peaceful place + full ATT service

I randomly ended up staying at Galbraith Lake on a trip out to Deadhorse and man am I glad I did! The surrounding scenery is stunning with Gates of the Arctic NP on one side and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge on the other. Probably one of the most beautiful and unique campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at. Not much for services, but hey, you’re on the North Slope!

Great place to camp if you need a stop over on your way to Prudhoe Bay. Put toilets were quite full, and there were lots of mosquitos but it’s a great place for a free nights camp!
