It looks likes a great place for car camping + some hiking. Are people allowed to swim in the lake?
Hmmm...no fires, no open BBQ, no this and no that! What the hell is camping? That is what you call "city folks" camping. Where you all bundle up together and jam pack camping with out any elbow room. Like outdoor apartments in the city. Lol....give me a break people
Make sure you are comfortable with driving single lane twisted mountain roads in various states of repair. I would suggest caution if driving inclement weather, ensure that your vehicle is in good condition with proper fuel. A larger vehicle (truck/SUV) would be subjectively the best option for travel. The campsite/visitor center is excellent. The owner/operator was an amazing and kind lady.
