We stayed at the campground for the Memorial Day holiday weekend. Pros of the campground are that we had a nice shaded site, quiet campground and price for wood was good. The Cons unfortunately outweigh the Pros. There is NO service to the restrooms. Our group had pop-up and tent campers so we need to use facilities onsite which we had access to viewing one we used the entire time and no one ever cleaned it. After the first day it ran out of toilet paper and no staff checked it. We ended up using 3 rolls of our own just to get through the weekend. The restrooms by the office were very dirty, which is uncommon from our experience at other campgrounds. Usually the restrooms near the office is the cleanest since new guests arrive and it's a first impression for them, not this location. The showers are tiny, have low water flow and if you enjoy the shower curtain being pasted to your back end while trying to get clean then it's the place to be. The sinks had rocks and dirt in them, probably by kids but again no staff appeared to clean them at all. The amenities listed online do not exist: miniature golf, community pavilion, shuffleboard and horse shoe area. The place appears to be gutted from an ownership change, if that's the case then it should at least state that online so you know what you're getting. The office hours are whatever the staff want them to be. We didn't see a posting to know when it should be opened or closed, we even asked a staff member who had no idea as well. When we left today we wanted to buy some treats at the store on our way out but it wasn't even open at 10:30am. Lastly but not surprising, the seasonal campers are not friendly. We would smile, say hi or wave to be friendly daily campers but got nothing in return. Overall, if it wasn't for booking a week out from the holiday and it being the only option we could find, we wouldn't have chosen to stay here and do not plan to return.

We had site 318, set between two seasonal sites. Absolutely lovely couple to the one side of us, the other site wasn't there for our stay. The front desk gal was wonderful! Very peaceful, quiet campground! Highly recommend! For the reviews on Internet access, We found it helpful to simply restart our phones and we had service.

Went there on a holiday weekend very disorganized and very unprofessional. Store only open when it is convenient for campground. A lot of people I know pulled out of there. I can see why not the same. Nothing to do everything that used to exist is torn down. Swing set they used to have is gone mini golf all gone. Bathroom's were very dirty toilet paper out in most. Not recommended they are living off yesteryear memories. Avoid take your family elsewhere!

Don't go here! We have camped at this campground for the last 3 years. First 2 years were great, had a great play ground and mini golf for all the kids at the camp ground to play together, other campers were great, staff was great... it was an all around good time. The last trip, last month was not the same. They seem to have changed ownership and tore down the play ground area, where all the kids played and replaced it with an out of a box, thrown together swing set, up by the office and no longer have a mini golf area. The whole camp site has turned into a "trailer park" of sites, most of them are permanent set-ups now and they're not friendly. You are treated as an outsider. The front office/store is open whenever someone feels like opening it, so we waited a lot to try to get ice for coolers and such, even though there were set "hours" on the door (which they ended up changing the hours when we asked about it). And there is no service any where within the sites. The only good thing here is the new staff is friendly. The end. 👎
