This campground was very overgrown and had lots and lots of bees. The trails leading into this campground from Windigo were very, very overgrown which made for a more difficult hike. I would suggest the Windigo to Island Mine route or Desor.
We stayed here for two nights. What a lovely place. Peaceful campsite and Feldtmann lake. The rainbow cove, where you can see lake Superior, is about a mile from here. Wish I had more days to spend here. :)
Are you kidding me?

Campsite two is a veritable wilderness kitchen with well placed logs and a water source ten feet away.
The lake is full of Pike and Rainbow Cove is a short hike away.
Moose are everywhere and the loons sing you to sleep at night. Yeah, a pretty terrible place I guess😂😂😂
