These guys were great when I saw them two years ago at the McCloud Mountain Bluegrass Festival! Hoping they perform at this year's festival.
What a climb! It is 3.4 miles of very steep climbing to get to the top, but it is a great workout with great views along the way! Just follow the road up. You cant get lost.
Beautiful view of the Illinois river! You can catch a view of the Biscuit fire burn area.
Gorgeous!! This area had been closed all summer due to the fires and cleanup. We went in early October and it was BEAUTIFUL. I’d like to go back on another sunny day in deep Fall (mid November) and see how different it looks.
