Dry Ridge is small with no amenities, but don’t let that worry you. James and David, owner/operators, are 2 of the best. They were always willing to help, and any issues were handled promptly. I would definitely stay again.

Evolving rapidly and remarkably into a top notch, long-term RV park in Southern Cleveland County, NC. While this property currently lacks in structured amenities, it excels in a tidy, well-groomed appearance and ample lot sizes. The trend toward more is certainly not evolving into less in this obviously extremely well- managed, well-maintained, multi-acred RV park.

My first experience with long-term RV living was at this campground. Stayed just shy of 6 months at Dry Ridge while working in the area and had a great experience. Very quiet and peaceful, but not far from town at all (10-15 minutes to most anywhere in Shelby, even closer to a couple gas stations and grocery stores). David and James were always responsive and helpful, and regularly went out of their way to accommodate guests. I parked in one of the larger spots in the back, which was a little more expensive, but well worth it in my opinion. No wifi in the back of the park at the time of writing this review, but heard good things about the wifi in the front spots, so that may be worth inquiring about before booking. I just brought my own hotspot, so this was a non-issue for me. David and James would always stop and chat if they were around the grounds and saw you out. Very friendly folks, very welcoming, and I'll definitely be back if/when I'm back in the area.

Thanks for such a great experience guys!

- Mike

I could not ask for a better place for my mom! They check in on her to see how she is doing. They check her propane tanks for her without her asking! They are really great and thoughtful people!! It's a quiet, well kept park!

Stayed at campground for 2 months while looking for a house. Dave worked hard to insure I had a spot that met my pets' and camper's needs. James met me at the camp, helped me get set and couldn't have been nicer. No showers or restrooms at this time.

The camp has 20 spots now with mostly long term stays. It is adding another 8 spots and some no sewer spots with a communal dump in the summer. It's super clean with great customers. Few if any kids. 16 of the spots will be in the back with large spots backing on a nice woods. Wifi has been super. I don't know the daily rate but, monthly sites were 450, 500, and 600 dollars depending on how big or nice the spot was. I didn't see any sites I wouldn't want to stay in.

My experience has been great. The brothers, Dave and James, who run it are really on top of things and respond quickly to questions. I don't know about problems since I haven't had any but all the other campers seem very happy to be here.
