This is the best camping facility in the area, if not the entire country. It has access to Clear lake, and has the longest dock on the lake. There is also a nice swimming pool and playground. For those who don't have a camper, you can rent nice rooms in the lodge. The staff is very friendly, but also enforces rules to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and safe experience.
We came in late and very tired (we had blown a tire so we were stressed too!). The owner took us to a site that with some manuvering we could have gotten into so he showed us another area that would make life a lot easier. Some of the other campers even came over and helped guide my husband as he backed up. Very friendly people.
Beautiful and secluded enough to enjoy your morning coffee when the wild deer or turkeys... most l the people who are go there are every are friendly and long term/repeat..
Great campground! There a lot of full sized trees for shade, great access to the lake, and the other campers were a delight. The best part though is the owner Deuce, probably the best camp host in the country.
