What once was originally know as KOA campground, has now been updated and rebranded as the new and improved A-OK Campground. With majestic sunsets you can sit back and watch while enjoying a warm cup of coffee in winter or an ice cold refreshment in the summer.
Great little park! Our site was level and easy to navigate. I love the river just feet from our door. Friendly folks and the owner Mike is awesome.
I cannot explain how grateful I am to have stopped here on my way through America. I was greeted with such a friendly owner who took pride in his park. Mike made sure my family was comfortable and went above and beyond anything I ever expected. He was so friendly that I cried a little, I forgot that there were good people still in this world! The bathrooms are super clean, WARM, and even ADA. Do not hesitate to bring your family. It’s right on the river and a perfect spot to take a break from the busy cities. There was pull thru spots and back in spots if you’re good at whipping your rigs in. Don’t forget to stop at the museums in town. So much fun!
Wonderful campsite with great facilities, views and river. Mike was so helpful on our stay and having been to many camps over the years the bathrooms are some of the cleanest and solid hot water ! Definitely recommend this site and with the improvements he’s making right now I will be back next year
One of the top two campgrounds we have stayed at in our 30 days of traveling. We found this campground in Deer Lodge, MT because my wife wanted to visit the prison.
We were greated by Mike, the owner of A-OK once we checked in. One of the nicest and most humble people we have met in our travels. He was so helpful and was full of knowledge on the area.
The campground and facilities were awesome. So nice to have an actual bathroom to yourself! Everything was super clean and welcoming. We decided to stay an extra night due to how welcoming and relaxing the campground and town are!
