About Campground

We are nestled in a small cove on the east side of the Blackfoot Reservoir midway between Soda Springs and Wayan, Idaho, just off Hwy 34, 18 miles north of Soda Springs Idaho. Cedar Bay is proud to be part of the history of the old pioneer town that once was Henry, Idaho.

A family oriented, private campground, Cedar Bay is home to seasonal campers and welcomes long-term visitors and overnight travelers. Amenities include full hookups, sewer, laundry and shower facilities, and an onsite cafe. The ‘meadows’ and ‘cedars’ areas offer dry camping sites for individual family use or large family, church, civic or private association groups.

Activities include fishing, camping, hiking, water sports; with off-road ATV trails nearby.

Come visit us and see for yourself why Cedar Bay is one of the jewels of Southeast Idaho.

Love this place! I've stayed up here for the past couple summers, and it has been a great place to spend time. The Blackfoot Reservoir is beautiful. Lori and Steve are wonderful hosts!

I've been very reluctant to share my experiences here because when I find a gem I have a tenancy to hoard it for myself but the owner is too nice not to share.

If your looking for a place to camp next to a tourist trap, amusement park or somewhere with super awesome wifi where you could conference with the office while you're kids are in the swimming pool then look at a KOA cuz this ain't your place.

This place is in a very beautiful and isolated area of Eastern Idaho. So if your idea of camping is peace, serenity, wildlife and bacon sizzling outdoors in the morning then you've arrived at Cedar Bay!

From the scenic surroundings, lake, creeks and Henry's Store you'll find more than enough to do. Let's not forget Lori, Munch and Whitney minding the store and cafe while Steve and Dan handle the grounds.

Don't miss this opportunity for a great experience! Thanks Cedar Bay!

Been 7 years since we visited the RV park. Owners are very nice and accommodating. Food at cafe is good. Sights are OK, bring plenty of water hose we had a run of 60', sort of an odd set up. Bathrooms are a wreck, toilet seats not bolted down, showers are pretty nasty. The place needs some serious maintenance and cleanup, road comining in is pot hole city. Several abandoned rigs, makes the place pretty dumpy. We were very disappointed. Docks are trashed and laying on the bank. Oh well, plenty of other places to go

Nice little campground. Very friendly staff. Clean and well cared for. My only complaint was the showers. They are short and have to step up into them. If you are older or have mobility issues they are difficult. Not to mention a few little spider webs. I loved watching an listening to the birds.
