We have a group of 12 that stay here every March and occasionally a few of us return again in April or May. Awesome place to stay with everything so close by…fuel, tackle, groceries, restaurants, etc. You’re also right at the bridge so you can trailer your boat over to the Texas side if needed. Chasite is our main contact and always works with me on the scheduling and booking. They truly go out of their way to take care of their guests. We stay in the lakeside cabins which are perfect for us and plenty of parking for vehicles and boats. Already have next year booked ! Thank You Chasite !😬

The furniture is very outdated and Black people are NOT welcomed there at least you don’t have the same privilege as whites. My family had a family reunion gathering there and everyone was having a good time we weren’t disturbing anyone but the owner came with a very unprofessional attitude demanding that if you didn’t rent a cabin you had 30 minutes to leave. It wasn’t even a calls for his rant. I do not recommend this place at all.

The Only good thing I have to say is the A/C is cold. That is all. And NOT worth $160+/night. Beds are horrible, Wi-Fi never worked, everything was filthy, spiders and cobwebs on everything. You’d be more comfortable in a tent!!

And before you suggest I wasn’t a registered guest, we were under Barbay.

The cabin are basic but cozy. When temperature reached 106 degrees, the AC unit in our cabins were EXTREMELY comfortable on the days we visited . Waking up to a view of the water and shade trees was relaxing.
