Love Eufaula Lake. Have always had a great time at Belle Star. Clean beaches, nice campsites. Shower houses are a little dated. My issue this time was a rude park ranger. I have never had anyone talk to me or others on a campground like this man. I had parked where others had in the grass. There wasn’t enough parking and nearby campers had taken 4-5 of the spots. When he came to the area and asked who owned my vehicle I quickly spoke up to say it was mine. He asked me to move it and I said I would. I started walking out of the water and he screamed that it needed moved now that it was new sod. No signs and definitely not new sod, there were too many weeds. However, I was still walking out of the water, and he proceeded to yell two more times that I needed to move it immediately! I feel it was uncalled for—I also don’t think he would have talked to a man that way in the same manner.
