Fun little place to stay. The kids loved watching the ducks on the water in the morning.
Seemed a bit pricey for one night though.
Stayed there for 4 nights in late July 2021, my wife and I where impressed with the room. The room was large, clean, with silverware, dishes, salt and pepper, coffee. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to help. Will recommend this place
Stayed here at a vrbo. It was fine. Quiet and low key. House was not amazing but it is a cute little place to stay in between Coeur d’Alene and Sandpoint. Ralph’s nearby for breakfast is amazing. 2 miles up the hill to overlook the lake.
OK - Why the 1 star? It seems to me that this town has lost its soul. It needs to be more inviting again. I have been coming to Bayview for a long time. My wife and I wanted to make it our base for a week on the lake in the sailboat. Well .....a call to Bayview Marinas started it off the wrong way. They must have seen dollar bills falling from our pockets asking crazy amounts for overnight parking and mooring spots. Oh yea... and you cant find an overnight parking spot for a truck and boat trailer ANYWHERE near the public boat ramp is a town that bases its economy around BOATING???????. Talking to the locals swimming to the right on the boat ramp with their kids (on the 20 foot of remaining waterfront) said everything on the water edge is being closed to any public use and its getting worse. I love Bayview but just cant consider coming back for locals staycation.
