The volunteer here (huge guy) was extremely rude. Threatening towards us and yelling at us because we had our chickens out in a pen we put up right by our camper. They are quiet and not bothering anyone. Nowhere in the rules does it state no chickens. It says"pets welcome" while others have big dogs outside off leash barking and peeing on my tire. Their dogs are more bothersome than my chickens. He just wanted to assert his dominance. I called before I booked reservations about fifteen times to ask questions and no one would answer the phone. We have stayed in many coe parks and state parks and have never had anyone say anything about our chickens he is the first. Bathrooms are dirty, shower doesn't work. I can't wait to leave here and never come back.

One toilet for the men’s room and the one ark attendant wants to complain about you going 8mph in a 20 mph zone says you need to slow down while him and his family fly around on the golf cart with no concerns for other vehicles or children on bicycles and you will see more police down there then you will see in kibler all day

It is so so beautiful here! The leaves are beginning to change and the temps are falling! It's a great time to camp out for a weekend of cooking great food outdoors with friends and loved ones. It is really beautiful here! Bring your family out and give it a try. You will be glad you did!!
